Another small haul just because :o)

Hey everyone hope you're all well ! I picked up a few little things this week not much as I shouldn't be spending ! Tiny haul :o)

Hey Guys ! Hope your well :) I'm back with a small haul today when I say small I mean tiny lol I'm on a buying ban right as I have bills to pay and I just keep buying clothes I don't need lol so this will probably be the last haul I do in a while I'm gonna start reviewing some sites that I love/hate to shop so I hope you enjoy that as much as the hauls ! I will have a book haul up at the end of the week though as I've just been a bit naughty on amazon *slaps hand* lol so look out for that. A quick update on my YouTube channels I've now set up 2

Hi Guys! Hope you're all ok :o) I know I've said this in my last couple of posts but I want to apologise for my lack of posting ! I know I've been awful just life has got in the way but I'm back now and I'm hoping to post atleast once a week from here on in :o) also I said in my last post in going to set up a YouTube all about books that's still in the process so stay tuned ! Update & YouTube ...

Hey everyone ! Hope you're all ok :o) I firstly wanted to start this post by apologising for my posts or lack thereof ! The past few weeks have been a hell of a time for me, I won't go to much into details because ( I don't want you falling asleep in boredom ) Lol but to summarise my grandad has been I'll again ( one of the perils of getting into your older years) Lol . My anxiety has also been a big part of my life again lately I won't go to much into that because I just wrote a post on here a little while ago so check that out if you're interested in my panic attack and anxiety post. On the plus I'm having Cognitive Behavioural Therapy now and it's really helping me back on the right road at long last something else that I've been using as well as the therapy to get me through the bad days is reading (I know not everybody's cup of tea ) I'm often saddened by how many people I here saying they don't read or have never read a book because I think it's something we take for advantage there are so many books out there that have the ability to make you laugh, cry, cringe, scream sometimes all at the same time, they're also a brilliant way to take you out of your world and put you into somebody else's which leads me to my next point YouTube I've finally decided what to use my YouTube channel for BOOKs ! Hauls, Reviews Etc. hopefully I can give some inspiration to people to pick up books ( my blog will remain fashion&beauty) so that's it my update down I will do a further one when my first YouTube vid is is up probably the end of this week :o) so stay tuned C x

Anxiety/Panic Attacks ...

Hey Guys :o) Hope your all well ! So I wanted to a bit of a different post today in response to a post I read on Zoe's Blog (Zoella) http://schoee.blogspot.com/2011/12/panic-attacks.html about Panic attacks and her experiences with them now I know that if you haven't suffered from any form of anxiety or panic (your uber lucky!) you may find this post a bit boring (don't feel you have to read it) but I'm going to do it anyways as I feel the more of us there is talking about this subject the more people it will benefit so here's my experience ... When I was 10 years old my dad had a severe allergic reaction to penicillin he was given for a toothache ! Obviously he became seriously the worst part was seeing him be violently sick and then put into an ambulance implanting on my brain that being sick ment having to go to hospital and could be fatal (of course in most cases not true at all) but its left me with a phobia of sick ( if you read Zoe's post you'll see she mentions about sick a lot to its more common than is often realised ) mine really hit me in about year 9/10 or secondary school in the end it forced me to stop going and I missed a good two years of schooling ! I then began to not eat thinking that if I didn't eat I wouldn't be sick (which sounds silly now) but at the time seems so logical I became borderline anorexic and was told that if I didn't eat I would be admitted to hospital (I hate hospitals!) so with every power in me I slowly but surely begun to eat again I can't tell how hard it was to do and at first my body rejected it but in the end my body took to it and I started to have more energy Etc. however to this day I don't enjoy food the way I should .... Through this time and even now I have seen numerous counsellors right now I'm having CBT(Cognitive behavioural therapy) which I think is being the most effective for me (although everybody is different and it is a very long process) I still find it very difficult to leave the house and sometimes don't leave it for weeks on end (this is a working progress) and because of this I have lost a lot of friends but have come to accept that those who don't want to know really aren't worth worrying even though it still hurts I'm lucky enough to have friends that have stuck with me since day 1 even though I've let them down so many times (when they've invited me out I've said yes because I've wanted to go so much but when it's come to the day I've let them down because the anxiety has become to overwhelming therefore many of them have just stopped asking which I guess is understandable). I'm also lucky to have the most supportive family who throughout all my struggles have never given up on me which I cant thank them enough for ! I'm not telling you these things to depress you I'm or feel sorry for me I'm telling you these things so if you're going through the same kind of stuff you won't feel so alone because I know it can be the most lonely place in the world to be but there are far more people going through the same thing than we realise and also to say that although panic attacks are the most horrible thing in the world they are not fatal and you can come through them by preserving even though it's so extremely tough at times and sometimes it won't be possible and you'll still run away but remember this doesn't mean you're weak it just means you've been trying to be strong for too long as long as you don't give up trying that's all the matters ! Ps. Don't forget the first step to any recovery is to talk to someone and while I know we're not all blessed with the most understanding and kind people in the world there is always someone(a doctor, a teacher Etc.) You don't have to go it alone !!! C x

Vintage Levi Shortiesss !

Hey Guys ! Hope you're all well :o) so I picked up some new vintage Levi shorts from Ebay yesterday and they arrived in the post today (I know so speedy !) the were from a shop on there called spotty-n-dotty and they have the largest selection of vintage Levi's on EBay !! I'll definately be shopping there again. Communication was amazing they sent me a message almost instantly after I bought them to thank me and tell me they were being sent out straight away and as I said I got them this morning so I can't fault delivery either all in all I recommend them :o) so onto the shorts themselves ...
As you can see there in amazing condition and they have that gorgeous vintage smell which I'm totally obsessed with lol I know random !
Overall I LOVE Them and I can't wait to wear them to death :o)

Update ...

Hey everyone ! Hope you're all well thought i'd just do a quick update seen as I've been lacking in the post department lately lol Last week my grandad had to have a heart bypass obviously it's a huge operation and results in alot of aftercare so it's been non stop back and forth to he's house hense not doing lots of posts :( but my gramps is getting back on his feet slowly now so I'm gonna start posting more regularly :o) ! I'm going to do some retail therapy tomorrow so I'll have a haul up for you all Wednesday hopefully :o) I'm determined to spend lol .... In other news I've just started a YouTube channel to run along side this blog (I know exciting) lol so please check it out and subscribe to me on there my first video will be up Wednesday too because I'll film a haul aswell I'll be taking my camera everywhere with me aswell and filming all the exciting things I do lol

Hey Everyone :o) So as I said in my post earlier today I got a little package through my door this morning
from Burberry of all places !! after I stopped screaming and jumping up and down lol I opened it up and discovered that the lovely people at Burberry had very kindly sent me a Burberry Body sample to review :D and OMG I LOVE IT <3 the Fragrance itself ranges from £55-£90 so it's much higher end and very much an investment buy I would say personally it's well worth it as you don't need much so it will last you a long long time plus it smells divine ! The description on the Burberry webpage says :
                        

• A deep and intense concentration of Burberry Body Eau de Parfum for a rich and long-lasting scent
• Top notes of green absinthe, exquisite peach and refined freesia
• Floral heart notes of natural rose absolute and iris enriched with warm sandalwood
• Sensual base notes of woody cashmeran, creamy vanilla, seductive amber and musk

I couldn't describe it any better lol it last ages as I said it's an eau da parfum which sometimes can be overpowering but 'Body' is a really light fragrance which could be worn at anytime of the day without becoming too much but at the same time holding it's smell all day :). I would give this fragrance a definate 4/5 the only reason I take a mark off is because of the price being so high but it's Burberry so you have to expect the price tag ! i'm already saving for a bigger bottle lol ...... www.burberry.com/

Hey Lovely People !!
Just a quick update for you all ... when I first started this blog I said I was going to dedicate it to the world of online shopping & sites Etc. I will still be doing this but the more I think about it the more I think basing it solely on one topic might get a bit boring (Yawn!) lol so i've decided this blog is just going to be a little bit of everything in my weird and wonderful life ( Mostly Fashion & Beauty related) but also everything in between !! i'm still considering YouTube so please leave me you're oppinions on that as they really do matter :) I'm also going to be putting up some street style posts so look out for them in the near future, Just need to get myself a more decent camera so fingers crossed that shouldn't take to long :). In other news the lovely people at Burberry kindly sent me a 'Burberry Body' sample which I got through the post this morning WOOPEEEEE ! Im a little over excited about it lol sooo i'm going to be doing a review about that which will either be up today or definately tomorrow :)

Update :o) ...

Hi Guys hope your all ok ! Just thought I'd come on and do a little update seen as I haven't posted for a lil while things have been totally hectic for me for reasons which I won't go into because that would just be boring !lol the most exciting thing though for me at the moment is of course the snowwww woooooooooop !!! I know it's not everybody's favourite thing but I LOVE it in a funny sort of way I feel like it brings everybody together I mean what other time of the year do you see so many people helping each other wether it be giving a car a shove to get it going or building snowmen and not forgetting how pretty everywhere looks in the snow :) anyway I'm dribbling on now lol the reason I came on really is to ask for your help basically what with being new to the whole blogging thing I'm not sure how to get my blog out to people and start getting to some followers I've had 162 profile views that I can see but nobody's following :( so if you guys could give me some hints/tips to get me going and out into the blogosphere that would be much appreciated :)!. The second thing I wanted to tell you all is that I finally got an IPad 2 wooopeeee I can't tell you how long I've been saving for now it's finally here I can't get enough of it I'm even writing this post on it now lol it's my best friend and I'm not scared to admit it paha :) anyways obviously the IPad to has video recording on it so I've decided that I might film some videos for YouTube to run alongside this blog please let me know you're thoughts on this your opinion really does matter to me :) my other passion is reading/books so I'm not wether to dedicate my YouTube channel to this reviewing books Etc. or just use it to do the same as I'm doing on here with some books thrown in . . ? On there website they describe there pieces as 'Fashion-wear aimed at punks, goths and fairies' now i'm none of these things lol but on seeing there items I fell in love none the less if you like clothing/accesories with an edge then this is the site for you they also have a shop on 'Ebay' too just type in Gobbolino and pooof' it will come up !! Soooo I'd been looking for hair accesories when I came across Gobbolino on Ebay and I picked up 3 of there Head Scarfs ( I should of only bought one but I couldnt choose ) lol .....

So these are the 3 I chose but they have a ton of others if these ones aren't your cup of tea !!

Illamasqua (FREAK !!)

Afternoon everybody :o) soooo i'd  been wanting the Illamasqua 'Freak' fragrance for agessss but with it being £59 I always put of buying it. About a week or so ago I heard that if you liked the Illamasqua facebook page you got 15% off your order so of course me being the bargain hunter I am I went on and liked them sure enough I got a discount code for 15% off so on Tuesday I hurridly went on to the Illamasqua website to purchase 'Freak' however I came across the 'Freak' giftset for £80 and then with my discount code it came down to £64 which worked out a better deal as I payed £5 more and got 3 make-up items too woooooooopeeeeeeee. My pakage arrived yesterday evening so I thought i'd come on and share it with you guys as i'm still a little over excited about it lol.....

so first things first the packaging is rather sexy don't you think lol personally I think all the Illamasqua packaging and designs are stunning but this has to be my favouritee :)
so on to what came in the box....

So the first thing is the 75ml 'Freak' Eau du parfum again stunning packaging/bottle and as for the smell wow !! obviously with it being a unisex fragrance it's quite masculine but I think most male fragrances are better than female ones anyway so that just adds to this perfume for me, alot of people have said it's too intense to wear during the day and whilst I agree it is intense I shall be dousing myself in it all the time because I <3 it ...

So then on to the make up it came with 3 different products and I loved every single one (what are the chances?) lol ...

1) A gorgeous sheer lipgloss in 'Tantrum' :)

2) An even more gorg pigment in the shade 'Phenomena'

3) A nail varnish in 'Wink'

Hope you enjoyed this post i'll talk more in depth about this products when i've had time to properly try them out but my first impressions are all positive :o)..

January Favs :o) !!!

Hey Guys ....  were coming to the end of January ( doesn't time fly?!) so I thought i'd do my January favourites (Mostly Fashion items) with 1 or 2 little randoms along the way .. 

1) My ultimate Jan fav this Gorgeous vest from Bershaka (Mens Section) £6.99 Bargain !! haven't stopped wearing it :) ...

2) Another gorgeous top I picked up in Pull & Bear the front of it is Silk so it really feels like a quality item it was £17.99 it is very oversized so if you're wanting to order it i'd go for a size smaller than your usual.

3) I'm loving the whole Hamsa Hand/Evil Eye trend at the moment and I picked up this little beauty which incorporates both from Ebay for just £7.99 :-o !!

4) Another couple of tops that had to be in my favourites are these to band vests from a shop call the Happy Shack in Camden they also have a store on Ebay :) they were £12.99 each ..

5) HOOODIES i'm loving hoodies to layer with at the moment because it's so cold here in the UK (Brrrr)
they perfect as I say for layering over vests/tees and with a leather Jacket. The Grey hoodie above is from Republic it was £15 and the Forest Green one is from Topman it was £25 they also do some nice ones in H&M.

6)So my 6th and final favourites are these 3 books that I picked up from Amazon. Dean Koontz is one of my favourite Horror writers so I couldnt not buy his new one !! I will talk more about the books once i've read them and as for the Gaga book all I can stay is STUNNING a must have for Gaga fans I got it for £14 on Amazon it's originally £35 !!
